Hey, guys over 40 – YOU can be ripped, too!

A unique program that is also 100% “paleo/primal”!

If you’d like to transform a “regular” physique into a body like Ryan Reynolds or Brad Pitt’s within 3-6 months, you need to read this!

Hello!  My name is Mark Ellis, and I turned 41 this year.  I’d like to share with you the system I used to look fitter and stronger at my “old” age than 99% of guys in their 20s.

First, I have to confess: I can be somewhat vain.  I’ve always tried to look fit and young for my age.

As a young man, I hit the gym pretty hard – several times per week, with weight training for “bulk,” lots of cardio to stay lean, and whatever diet I’d heard about most recently that would make me look as ripped as possible.

And I looked okay… never quite as good as I really wanted, but not totally embarrassed to take off my shirt, either.

At the gym: working hard… but it was hardly working

As I got older, I stuck with my training – I was not a hardcore gym rat, just one of those anonymous guys you see at the fitness center pushing out a few sets of bench presses, barbell curls, and cable extensions before climbing onto an elliptical machine or exercise bike for 20-30 minutes.  I worked hard, trained for at least an hour each session, and worked up a big sweat.

I did everything I was “supposed” to do, getting to the gym 3 times every week and eating pretty healthy.

So, how did that work out for me, as I hit my 30s and raced towards my 40s?

To be blunt: not very well.

On the one hand, I wasn’t obviously fat, and I was in decent enough shape “for my age.”

But on the other hand: would you have noticed me for any reason?  Or asked me for pointers on weight training so you could look like me?

I gotta be honest: no way.

Luckily, I found something different, something that (finally!) really worked to make me look the way I had always wanted, and beyond anything I had previously hoped or imagined.

Before telling you more about it, let’s jump straight to the result:

Pretty crazy, right?  I still can’t quite believe I’m the same guy in those “before” and “after” pictures (neither can my wife!)

Why did I wait ’til I was 41 to look like a ripped 25-year-old?

Well, it certainly wasn’t for lack of trying.  But the honest answer is that I just didn’t know how to put all the right pieces together.

And that’s where Clay Rogers comes in, because the truly interesting part of this story begins with him.  Clay is the guy who unlocked the code for the kind of weight loss and targeted muscle gain that you see above.  He calls it “The Hollywood Physique for Men.”

Basically, Clay reverse-engineered the jaw-dropping body transformations that we see all the time in Hollywood stars: think Brad Pitt in “Fight Club” or “Snatch.”  Ryan Reynolds in “Blade Trinity” or “The Green Lantern.”  Daniel Craig in “Casino Royale.”

These are the stars with the physiques that almost all of us want, and the bodies that women notice most.  (HINT: There’s a very specific reason for this, which Clay explains in great detail.)

Clay designed a training and eating methodology that provides the same transformations you’ve seen in those guys in a remarkably short amount of time, even for regular, “old” dudes like me.  (Remember, many – if not most – of those shredded Hollywood guys are in their 30s and 40s, too!)

I randomly found The Hollywood Physique for Men through a blog post right when Clay was launching it, and was lucky enough to be a part of the first ‘test group’ he assembled.  I paid to get in, followed it exactly as written (with no extra attention or ‘bonuses’), and I got the results.  Clay now uses my pictures and story on his own site (along with others) to break down exactly how his system works, and I’m proud to recommend it to everyone I know who needs it.

I am a nerd

Let me tell you a little more about the genius of this system: if you’re like me, then you’ve probably read dozens – if not hundreds – of articles about fitness and nutrition and the various “optimal” approaches to both.

Perhaps like me, on more than one occasion, you have buried yourself in the technical minutia of absolutely perfecting your training and food protocols.

You’ve tried one thing, then another, and many others after that.  Different set/rep structures, rest intervals, intensity levels, dietary approaches, supplement regimes.

How did that work out for you?  Exactly. Me too.  I suspect that’s one reason you’re here.

Here’s what’s kinda weird: as I was reading The Hollywood Physique approach in detail, I realized that Clay had not really discovered any training or nutritional concept that I hadn’t come across myself, at least in passing.

I mean, he’s got a few specific exercises that I had not tried , but they weren’t “revolutionary” in any way.  As I excitedly read more of his materials, I kept thinking, “yeah, sure, I knew that.”

What made The Hollywood Physique approach truly ingenious was that Clay assembled all of these existing ideas in a way that was totally innovative.

In other words, you may be pretty sure that Idea A, or Idea B, or Idea C might all help you look the way I you really want to – but you probably haven’t thought to combine them in a way that delivers mind-boggling results.  To our good fortune, Clay did.

Take the ideas of The Hollywood Physique and run like hell with them

The point is – you probably know many of the concepts covered in The Hollywood Physique, too.

But you probably haven’t linked them together in a way that makes people stare at you (in a good way).

This system will make everything click for you.

I don’t want to steal all of Clay’s thunder – very shortly I’ll tell you how to hear everything straight from him – but please read on to learn more about why this system will work for you, even (or especially!) if you are over 40.

I am not a special little snowflake
(Genetically, anyway)

Here’s something important: much as I hate to say it, I am a very average guy.

In case it’s not obvious from my “before” picture,” I am a fairly athletic guy but not especially gifted; I do not have a special physique or body frame; and I am not blessed with unusual genetic gifts for building muscle or maintaining leanness.

In fact, to be brutally honest, at a few times during my adulthood, I was even what you might call “pudgy.”  One time, a female friend commented to me after I’d lost some weight, “hey, you don’t have that extra chin anymore.”  She meant it in a nice way, but I was like “WTF?!?! I had a DOUBLE CHIN???”

(Actually, if you look at my “before” photo, it’s slightly visible. Like I said, not genetically gifted…)

So my “average-ness” was likely one reason that I never really truly rocked it with my results from the gym:  I didn’t have any built-in advantage.

Then the game changed completely.

The Hollywood Physique gave me the advantage I needed

The Hollywood Physique for Men has two core components, both crucially important: food and training.  (There are dozens of other fascinating details, but I’ll let Clay tell you more about those.)

I can pretty much guarantee you that these two core components, or at least the combination of them as outlined in The Hollywood Physique, are different than anything that you’ve tried before.

When put together, they transformed me from genuinely average to studly, as if by magic.  The best description of my transformation, from a female observer, was:

“Wow!  Mark went from ‘Dad’ to ‘hot’!”

My body changed so dramatically that you might have suspected drugs were involved. One of my friends semi-jokingly asked me why I had suddenly decided to start using ‘roids to look better, when I was already a settled-down married guy with two kids (i.e. at the point where it’s okay to “give up” on how you look).

Here’s what this boils down to:

When put together, the components of The Hollywood Physique  will deliver to YOU the kind of results that you simply won’t believe.  Your friends will be SHOCKED, in a good way.  (Mine were.)

A quick side story:

In the midst of doing The Hollywood Physique, I went out of town, to the coast, for an annual “guy trip” with some old college buddies.

At one point a few of us were at the beach, and several of the other guys were giving me these sideways glances – you know, checking me out, but trying not to look like they were checking me out.

Finally, one guy just blurted out, “Dude!  What the hell have you been DOING?!  You look RIPPED!!!”

Listen: these transformations are happening every week for the hundreds of guys using this system, and I am personally watching them happen in The Hollywood Physique forums, where there is an active, supportive community of guys sharing their experiences and results.

You are only a couple of quick steps away from being one of them.

Turn off your brain

Here’s another great thing about The Hollywood Physique: you don’t have to think.  All you have to do is follow the system, exactly as it’s laid out.

Clay has already done the thinking for you, as you’ll quickly discover when you read his detailed explanations for everything he recommends.

If you’re interested in a comparative analysis between “myofibrillar hypertrophy” and “sarcoplasmic hypertrophy,” you’ll get it!  Luckily (for me, anyway), you don’t actually need to understand the technical physiology behind it.  This isn’t a science class: although The Hollywood Physique is based on research from multiple scientific fields, Clay is much more obsessed with real-world results.

Bottom line, you just need to do what Clay says.  He goes into so much detail that you will never have to wonder how to train, or what to eat, on any given day.

In fact, here’s a pretty good summary of the approach – with The Hollywood Physique, you can build the body you’ve always dreamed of having, with nothing but:

  • hard work
  • whole foods
  • plenty of sleep
  • no hunger or deprivation
  • zero supplements, and
  • as few as 2-3 (intense!) hours of training per week.

A little more about the food

This is always a big question.  Are you going to be eating nothing but lean chicken breasts, tuna, and iceberg lettuce for 3 – 6 months?  Are you going to be hungry, surly and cross-eyed as you endure a starvation diet?

Answers: no, and hell no.

The Hollywood Physique’s everyday foods are rich, nutritious, and satiating.

Not only that, but you can find everything you’ll need at any typical grocery store.

In fact, you can even get every item of food prescribed by The Hollywood Physique at a good local farmer’s market (I am lucky enough to be able to do this myself).

One more thing: the entire Hollywood Physique diet is 100% “paleo-compliant” (including all of the various current interpretations of the “correct” paleo diet being discussed all over the Internet).

In other words:

  • No expensive or complicated pseudo-foods.
  • No hunger or deprivation.
  • No bodybuilding supplement voodoo.

Numbers don’t matter, but I’m going to share some anyway
(I know you’re looking for it: the bodyfat analysis)

So you might be wondering, “what is Mark’s bodyfat level?”  And honestly, I don’t have much of an idea.

(Incidentally, do you think a woman who notices me at the beach cares whether the number is 12% or 7%?  I’m pretty sure she doesn’t.)

But just for fun, here’s a very rough, conservative guess about my change in bodyfat percentage after following The Hollywood Physique program.  Just to emphasize, this is not particularly “scientific” data, but if (like me) you enjoy anecdotal info and simple math, you might find it useful.

When I started The Hollywood Physique, my body weight was a steady 178 pounds.  Looking at my “before” photo, we might estimate my bodyfat percentage was at about 20% when I started – possibly a little lower, but I think 20% is a reasonable, conservative guess.

I didn’t check my weight on the scale during the program (it’s a no-no, for reasons explained in detail by Clay), but when I was done, I weighed 162 pounds.

(Think about that for a second - do I look “scrawnier” in the “after” photos above, despite losing almost 20 pounds of body weight?)

Let’s estimate that I gained 5 pounds of muscle during my training – again, this seems like a reasonable, conservative guess over the course of six months of pretty intense weight training.  I think it may have been more – it certainly looks to me like it could have been perhaps 7 pounds of muscle or more!

Three pounds of muscle gain would imply a fat loss of 21 pounds (178lbs – 21lbs fat + 5 lbs muscle = 162lbs).

If my bodyfat percentage was 20% to start, the numbers above suggest that my finishing bodyfat percentage was 9.0% – less than HALF what it was at the beginning.  And I’m trying to be conservative here – the actual number could easily be lower than 9%!

There are two points of this fun little math exercise:

  • Slashing bodyfat percentage by roughly half, while piling on muscle, is a pretty dramatic transformation for a guy like me who didn’t think 10% (or lower) bodyfat was going to be in the cards for me, ever.
  • I don’t even care anymore about my bodyfat percentage, because I think I look fantastic – and that’s WAY more important to me than some number.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows

I’m going to show you how to sign up for this in just a second.  Before finishing, I do want to share a few thoughts about whether you should really consider trying The Hollywood Physique for Men.

The thing is, it only works if you commit and follow everything in this program to the letter. In other words:

  • You must be willing to work hard.  Intensity is part of this game.
  • You must be willing to follow the program exactly as it is designed.  Train on the days you’re supposed to train, rest on the days you’re supposed to rest.  Get enough sleep to improve your recovery and muscle growth.
  • You must have the discipline to eat the range of foods identified as part of the system, exactly as prescribed.  Luckily, there’s a specific (and required) “cheat” built right in, to relieve those less than healthy cravings that we all have!
  • You should have at least some experience with weight training.  If you’re brand new to the gym, take some time to familiarize yourself with resistance training basics, and then come back to The Hollywood Physique.  (Don’t worry, it will still be here working its magic when you’re ready to come back!)

Also, The Hollywood Physique protocol won’t necessarily make you stronger – although it might.  I personally found that my strength benchmarks (for squat, deadlift, overhead press, bench, chinups) stayed about the same – I saw no noticeable strength gains after six months on The Hollywood Physique program, but no drop-off, either.

Finally, some of us “older” guys may be at a slight disadvantage metabolically and/or hormonally compared to young guys, but remember: we also have “old man” strength (mental and physical)!

The mental strength, in particular, is a HUGE asset for success on this program – and it’s well-documented that older guys tend to be more mentally resilient than younger guys.

Why you should commit and make this happen

You’ve got to take action to make this transformation happen for yourself.

Sure, you can always come up with reasons to wait.

But every one of those reasons just mean delaying the start of a new phase in your life with a new physique that will completely blow your mind!

Get started.  Do this NOW.  Why?

  • You will look stronger.
  • You will feel better.
  • People will notice you.
  • You will be more self-confident.

Let me say a little more about the confidence thing, because it probably sounds a little new-agey.  Obviously you can’t walk around shirtless all the time, showing off your new shredded physique to the gaping awe of everyone around you (as much as I guarantee you will want to!)

But I’m telling you from personal experience: knowing that you look the way you do underneath your clothes will help you walk taller and project a greater “presence” to those around you.

I am totally serious about this:

  • People will notice you for reasons they may not even realize – kind of like one of those commercials (“Hey, Bob looks great!  What changed with him?”)
  • Your clothes will fit better.
  • Your face will actually look more chiseled.
  • The self-reinforcing cycle of confidence resulting from these changes will only grow.

I have had precisely this experience, and I think you will too.

This is my true story.  Look, I am a successful guy with a nice career and a great job that comfortably supports my family.  In a busy life with two young kids, why am I taking the time to tell you about this?  Because I am so psyched to have finally found the right formula for true physique transformation that I want to share it with as many guys like me as possible, including YOU.

You may be 30-something, 40-something, or more… but you don’t have to look like it!
